Twyman Tae Kwon Do Academy is a martial arts school in Louisville, Kentucky.Our youngest students start at age 4, and every student earns their belt knowing they worked hard for it.
Children ages 4-6 train in Chung Do Kids, a class all to itself, specially designed for children to learn and love Taekwondo in a fun, structured and disciplined way. Kids 7 and up train in our full curriculum and earn their belts alongside a community that feels like family.

We are a nationally chartered martial arts school of the United States Chung Do Kwan Association. All of our instructors are USCDKA-certified and have helped hundreds of children, adults and families learn the martial art of Tae Kwon Do.
Our school is Christian-owned and operated in Louisville, Kentucky. Our goal is to help everyone reach their full potential in Tae Kwon Do, life, family and their relationship with God.

Parent Questions
What age can my child start?
Children can start at age 4. Kids ages 4-6 train in Chung Do Kids, and students 7 and up join our full curriculum.
How much do kids classes cost?
Chung Do Kids (ages 4-6) is $95 per month. All other classes, for ages 7 through adult, start at $105 per month. The first class is a free trial.
When are the kids classes?
Chung Do Kids meets Monday 6:30 - 7:15pm, Saturday 10:00 - 10:45am. Beginner classes meet Monday 5:30 - 6:15pm, Tuesday 5:30 - 6:15pm, Tuesday 6:30 - 7:15pm, Wednesday 6:30 - 7:15pm, Thursday 5:30 - 6:15pm, Saturday 10:00 - 10:45am. View the schedule
Does my child need a uniform for the free trial?
No. No uniform is needed for the first class.
What happens at the free trial class?
Your child tries one class before you commit. We will help you choose the right age group, answer your questions, and make the first visit simple.
Is this karate?
We teach Taekwondo, an Olympic sport. If you have been looking at karate for your child, a free trial class is the easiest way to see whether Taekwondo is a good fit.
